High School Announcements


  • Congratulations to the Outlaw Student of the Week, Kaytlyn Kizarr.She will represent MHS @ Lion’s Club today.


  • There will be an ASL/Spanish Club meeting today at lunchtime in Mrs. Conner’s room 108.


  • StuCo is selling Halloween Cookie Grams through Oct. 14.For $1, you can send an iced bakery sugar cookie and a message to any MHS, MMS, or MES student or staff. Cookies will be delivered Oct. 30.


  • Jr./Sr. Parent After Prom meeting tonight @ 7pm in the Elementary Cafeteria.We will pass out ham forms.


  • We will be taking the seniors to the Duncan Campus of Cameron TOMORROW morning departing at 9:00 and returning by 10:30 or 11:00 depending on how long they stay engaged with the college reps.Busses will load from the west side of the HS building on 6th street.


  • You can see in the dark; the characters can't.Black Comedy's matinee for the school is Friday morning.Admission is $1, payable to your 3rd hour teacher that day.


  • Any senior picture orders are due to Ms. Cramton by Oct. 12, or you may order online.If ordering online, you will need to use Internet Explorer and not Chrome. Even if you don't plan to buy pictures, you will need to select a pose for the yearbook from the feather and tux pictures as well as the cap and gown pictures.Senior picture retakes and yearbook photo retakes for 9-11 grades will both be Nov. 13.


  • There will be a library club meeting on MONDAY, OCTOBER 12th at lunchtime in the library.Come by the library by this Friday (OCT. 9) to order and pay for your pizza - $1 per slice.There will not be any for you if you don’t sign up.


  • F.C.A. will have Fields of Faith next Wednesday, October 14 at the football field.Hot dogs will be served at 6:15 with a program following from 7-8pm.


  • The next Health Careers Club meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 20th from 6-7pm.The Speaker will be Nichole Nichols, RN, BSN, CNOR, & RNFA.She is a Certified Nurse, Operating Room Nurse and a Registered Nurse First Assist, which is not a very common certification. This certification allows her to assist and do things for the patient in surgery that regular RN's cannot do.I've asked her to explain all levels of nursing and to go more into detail about being a surgical nurse and especially a RNFA. She is a great speaker and has accomplished a lot in the nursing field.All health careers students are encouraged to attend.


  • Students eligible to apply to National Honor Society are listed on the Blue Doors in the main building.Applications must be typed and are due Wednesday, October 21st to Mrs. Hazel.


  • 2016 yearbooks are on sale for $40 until October 31. The price will then be $50. See any yearbook staff member or Ms. Cramton.Yearbooks can also be purchased online at jostensyearbooks.com. If you purchase online, you can personalize or add other things to your book.


  • Please check your email for a list of FFA students excused at designated times this week for the Tulsa State Fair.

  • Our Flower Fund is critically low and needs replenishing.Any and all donations are welcome and appreciated.Donations may be given to Ms. Harmeyer in the HS office.
