High School Announcements


  • Good Luck to the 7-8-9 grade basketball teams as they compete against Comanche today beginning at 5pm.  Girls-Away, Boys-Home


  • Seniors – Don’t forget that Jostens is in the library today to take any orders for cap & gown and announcements.  There is a required deposit of $80, unless your order is less, in which full payment is due at time of order.  Class rings will also be delivered for those who ordered.  If you need to know your balance owed, check with Ms. Harmeyer in the office.


  • Don’t forget if you would like to order a Lady Outlaw basketball shirt, orders are due to Mrs. Kizarr at the elementary school by 5pm today.  Order forms and artwork of the shirt are in the HS office.




  • Good Luck to the Outlaw wrestlers as they host the Marlow Open Tournament tomorrow beginning at 9am.


  • Attention Juniors:  Youth Leadership Oklahoma is taking applications for high school juniors to learn about Oklahoma and experience the state's treasures, meet adult community and state leaders and develop personal leadership skills.  This program will be June 5- June 10, 2016.    Applications are available in the office and are due by November 28.


  • This year's Canned Food Drive for the Marlow Samaritans will begin when we come back from Thanksgiving Break (Nov. 30) and end Dec. 11. The grade that collects the most cans, with a minimum of 400, will win a movie day after Christmas Break.


  • Health Careers Club meeting for November/December will be combined to one meeting next Tuesday, Dec. 1st from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Conference Room One. We will have a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) as a speaker.


  • Jr./Sr. Parents, the next After Prom meeting will be Dec. 2 @ 7pm in the Elementary Cafeteria. We will go over the info for the upcoming bull event on Jan 9. We will need lots of people to work this event. We are little short of being halfway to our goal. Please sell the raffle tickets. This would be a great week to sell to family and friends. Have a great and wonderful Thanksgiving! Please pass this info along.


  • The yearbook staff is doing a "school break" two page spread in this year's book. Please share action pictures of you and your MHS friends doing various activities during Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.  Pictures can be uploaded to RePlayIt.com, or you can give them to any staff member.


  • SENIORS - We will have Kerri Matheny, an ECU college counselor and Marlow native, here Wednesday, December 2 to assist with the FAFSA application process. She does this as a service to help students interested in any college, not just ECU. FAFSA is changing this year so if you need help, parents and students, please attend.  You can sign up for one of the following time slots:  2pm, 4pm, or 5pm.  We will meet at the Computer Lab Room 100 in the Main Building.  You can sign up with an email reply or call me to sign up for a time slot.  Please mark your calendar!!


  • The $40 yearbook early sale has been extended until December 15. Prices will go to $50 after that date.


  • Also for Juniors:  The University of Oklahoma High School Leadership Conference will be held on OU's Norman Campus February 19-21, 2016.  If you are considering, OU, this is an excellent opportunity.  The application is due January 8 and can be picked up in the office.
