ANNOUNCEMENTS  10/24/2014

 

  • Good Luck to the Outlaw football team as they compete @ Plainview tonight @ 7:30 p.m.

     

  • Check out the picture page of homecoming on the MHS exPRESS tab at the top of the Marlow Home page.

     

  • Marlow After Prom Fundraiser: HAM ORDERS are due TODAY.  Next meeting will be Oct. 29 @ 7 in the elementary cafeteria. The hams serve (20-25) and are $45 & money is due at time of order. Make checks out to Marlow After Prom.  Hams will be ready for pick up on November 15th at the Marlow Multi-Purpose Gym parking lot from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

 

  • A final note from FCCLA @ the Table – “Why is FCCLA at the head of the table?  Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America is a national student organization that help young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences Education.”  “Supporting strong, healthy, and happy families is one of FCCLA’s core values.  So MHS, join us @ the table building “stronger families one meal @ a time!”

 

  • The ACT is tomorrow, and there is a room change for the Duncan location.  All students need to report to the West Building of Duncan High School.  All tests will be given there, not in the main front building.  It is the building behind all the construction areas right off of Pine Street.

 

  • Good Luck to the Outlaw cross country teams as they compete in the State Meet tomorrow @ Shawnee.

 

  • Seniors: The yearbook staff is doing a Now and Then page in the yearbook.  If you have pictures that you feel could be reenacted, please take them to Ms. Cramton as soon as possible.

 

  • The StuCo haunted house is TOMORROW NIGHT from 9-11:30pm and begins in the MHS Cafeteria.Students are encouraged to bring friends and family over the age of 10 years old. Admission is $7 per person.

     

  • Outlaw wresting shirts are on sale until October 31st.  Order forms are @ Ms. Harmeyer’s desk.  Return orders & money to Coach Henderson by Halloween.

 

  • **Over 75 thousand Oklahomans are at risk of hunger every day. That is one in every seven people living in the state.**  Marlow High School and Students Against Hunger Food and Fund Drive will run through November 7th. The food that is collected will remain in the community and we are being challenged to raise 400 pounds of food. (1 can of food is = to 1 pound) Donations can be left with your English teacher or in the boxes that are labeled Food Drive in front of the office.

 

Faculty

  • TODAY is the deadline to make changes on your school insurance.  Please see Mrs. Folmar ASAP for any changes needed.
  • The Flower Fund is already getting low for this semester.  Any donations would be appreciated and may be given to the HS office.
