High School Announcements
 

ANNOUNCEMENTS  4/17/2014

 

  • Good Luck to the Outlaw baseball team.  They will host games against Newcastle today beginning @ 5pm.

 

  • Reminder to students – The only point of entry you should be using throughout the day for the HS building is the set of doors on the east side of the building across from the cafeteria.  Do not use the west doors.  Those are for MHS guests.

 

  • Prom frame & t-shirt combo orders are due to Ms. Cramton by noon TODAY.  Cost is $15.

 

  • The Advanced Drama will perform their Talent Showcase TODAY during 5th & 6th hours.  The cost is $1 payable to your 5th hour teacher.  A Stagecraft student will pick up admission money.  Students will be dismissed by a double bell around 12:25.  They will perform for the public this evening @ 7pm in the HS auditorium.  Admission will be $3.  Students not attending will report to Mr. Scalf’s class.

 

  • Seniors – The Marlow Ministerial Alliance, Outlaw Booster Club, & Sandy Walker Memorial Scholarship applications are due TOMORROW.  The SW OK Section of Society of Petroleum Engineers Scholarship application is due Monday, April 21.  New scholarships available are the Daniel Holland Memorial/Marlow Class of 1981, Duncan Federated Music Club, & Iron Phi Scholarship for any male planning to attend SWOSU.

 

  • Autism shirts will be here Monday.  If you have not paid for your shirt, please pay your $7 to Mrs. Mowry by TOMORROW.  Also, please confirm that you will be going to the May 3rd Autism Walk or sign up by April 30th.  Transportation must be finalized by that date.

 

  • All girls planning to play softball next year will have a meeting @ lunch next Wednesday, April 23rd @ 11:30 in the dome gym.  Pizza will be provided.

 

  • Any student wishing to be a Student Council member next year needs to pick up a Candidacy Request Packet @ Ms. Harmeyer’s desk.  They must be submitted to Mrs. Field by April 24th.

 

  • If any high school girl who will be attending the prom has questions regarding your choice of attire, please see Mrs. Cramton ASAP.

 

  • Any student that is at least 14-years old and has or will be completing the 8th grade, and would like to be a Teen Volunteer for the Duncan Regional Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary program should stop by the scholarship file and pick up an application with info sheet.

 

  • MEMO:  AFTERPROM REMINDERS
  • SENIORS:  We need these items brought by you in order to help with expenses.
  •      Boys: Please bring lunch sack bags of chips
  •      Girls:  Please bring a 12pk/24pk of bottled water
  • JUNIORS:  We need these items brought by you in order to help with expenses.
  •      Boys:  Please bring lunch sack bags of chips
  •      Girls:  Please bring a dessert
  • Please remember:
  • NO ONE will be allowed into Afterprom without a signed contract.  This includes out of town dates and underclassmen dates!  Turn in your signed contract ASAP!
  • Juniors and Seniors you don’t have to attend prom to attend Afterprom, so join us for a great night!  You will still need a signed contract! 
  • Freshmen and sophomores may only attend Afterprom with a Junior or Senior.

  • Remember to check your email daily for testing rosters.  We begin testing next Tuesday.
