High School Announcements



  • Congratulations to Tyler Gibbs and Emily Taylor for receiving a Superior rating and to Blair Kohler and Mason Seely for receiving an Excellent Rating on their solos at the State Band Contest yesterday.


  • Good Luck to the Outlaw baseball team as they travel to Elgin for games beginning at 4:30.


  • Seniors - Your baby picture for the senior video is due to Mrs. Fikes or Mrs. Bullard TODAY.  (Photos will be returned.)  Photos can also be e-mailed to tfikes@marlow.k12.ok.us .


  • FCCLA chapter meeting today during lunch in the dome gym.  We will be discussing the upcoming Relay for Life event on Friday, May 1st.  All chapter members please plan to be there.


  • ALL AfterProm forms MUST be turned in to the High School office by NOON TODAY, to attend the After Prom. No one can leave unless a parent comes to sign you out. You must be in the gym before the doors lock at 1am. Parents, check out Marlow AfterProm on Facebook for more info.


  • Curious about why StuCo has a different number of representatives in some classes? An explanation has been posted on the blue doors. If you have further questions, please talk to Mrs. Field and she will be happy to discuss the Constitution with you.


  • The Outlaw Band Spring Concert will be tonight at 7pm in the multi-purpose gym.


  • NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!!!  Pre-scheduled snow day.


  • PROM is tomorrow night at the Simmons Center from 9-12pm.


  • Algebra I EOI Prep Sessions will be next Tuesday, April 28th and Monday, May 4th around 5-7 pm.


  • Seniors – If you will need your final transcript sent to a college or university after school is out, you must sign up at Ms. Harmeyer’s desk.  If you do not sign up, your transcript will not be sent.


  • Students – Do not park in the X’d spaces in front of the superintendent’s office.  They are reserved for employees ONLY!


  • All library books must be returned and fees paid by May 5th.  No library books may be checked out after that time, although, the library will remain open for all other purposes.


  • The following students need to return their library books immediately:  Taylor Ellsworth, Colton Hughey, & Lacey Wortham.


  • Students may sign up @ Ms. Harmeyer’s desk for the summer session of Driver’s Ed class.  The class is tentatively scheduled to begin the last week of May.  The cost is $125 due the first day of class.


  • Attn: Teachers and students – The Foreign Language Club is selling Spirit Sport bottles for $3 each or 2/$5.  Come and buy yours while supplies last.  Thanks from FLC!


  • FCCLA officer applications are available for the 2015-2016 school year.  You can pick an application up at Ms. Harmeyer's desk or from Ms. Huddleston.  Applications are due back by May 1st.


  • There will be a garage sale to Benefit Backpacks 4 Kids @ Marlow Elementary on May 1 & 2 from 7am-1pm at 107 N. 4th St.  Donations accepted and shoppers wanted.  For more information, email suehorning@gmail.com .


  • The City of Marlow is accepting applications for lifeguards for the summer of 2015.  All applicants must be at least 16 years of age by June 1st, and must have their lifeguard certification or be willing to get certified prior to beginning work.  Applications are available at City Hall located at 119 S. 2nd, and must be returned by May 8th.  For more info call (580)658-5401.


  • Any Native American who would like to participate in the Chickasaw Nation summer youth program may pick up an application in the HS office.



  • Please check your email for a list of vocal students that were excused after 1st hour today.
