Outlaw Strong, Online Smart
Good afternoon, Outlaws!
We’ve got an exciting and important event coming up that I highly encourage you all to attend!
On Tuesday, August 19th at 6:30 PM, Marlow Public Schools will host a special online safety education session featuring a U.S. Secret Service Agent who specializes in cybersecurity and fraud prevention. This session is a fantastic opportunity to get expert insights on how to protect our students, our personal information, and stay safe in the digital world.
The event, titled "Outlaw Strong, Online Smart," is open to everyone in Stephens County, so feel free to invite parents, students, and even your neighbors. The presentation will take place in the Performing Arts Center at Marlow High School and will cover crucial topics like online scams, social media safety, and how to protect both children and families from digital threats.
This will be a great chance to hear directly from a Secret Service expert who will share practical tips, answer any questions, and provide resources that will help us all better protect our students as they navigate the internet.
We’re also excited to let you know that the U.S. Secret Service experts will be giving a similar presentation to our middle and high school students the following day, on Wednesday, August 20th, as part of our ongoing effort to equip them with the tools and knowledge to stay safe online.
Please mark your calendars—we hope to see you there to support this important initiative and take away some helpful information for both your professional and personal lives. Attendance will also earn you professional development points!
Please feel free to reach out to myself or Mr. Holland with questions. Let’s make sure we are Outlaw Strong, Online Smart!
Best,Cameron Harris
